I wouldn’t visit Arnolds Park unless you’re from Iowa, and I wasn’t impressed with the classic coaster. But I loved the lake Okoboji cruise!

Visit Adventureland in Altoona, Iowa! No great coasters, but there is some really fun live entertainment and friendly atmosphere!
The Kings Island Halloween Haunt event this year was fantastic! This is definitely the best Halloween event I’ve ever been to.

Take a look at Idlewild, a hour outside of Pittsburgh and perfect for families with little kids. There are a few thrills here, but not many.
I am totally charmed by the small amusement park Waldameer in Erie, PA. It’s a very well-run park with short lines and great rides!
As if 18 roller coasters and 26+ other rides aren’t enough for Cedar Point, they also have a water park called Cedar Point Shores.
