Roller Coasters in Delaware

There are no roller coasters in Delaware. But there is one beachside amusement park and a few water parks, so let’s take a look at those!

Funland Rehoboth

While it doesn’t have any roller coasters, there are a few adult thrill rides at Funland in Rehoboth on the boardwalk. There’s an old Gravitron centrifugal ride, a Sea Dragon swinging ship, Superflip 360 pendulum ride, a Paratrooper spinner, a carousel, and a Haunted Mansion dark ride. The rest are kid-only rides, and there are several midway games.

Entry to Funland is free, but you have to pay if you want to ride. You can buy individual ride tickets or pay $23 for a time-limited wristband good for the afternoon. Tickets cost 60 cents each and the biggest rides, the Superflip and Haunted Mansion, take 6 each.

Water Parks in Delaware

  • Jungle Jim’s in Rehoboth is Delaware’s largest water park, with 9 big slides, one of which is a water coaster! A lazy river includes a small wave pool. Kid’s and activity pools fill up the area in the middle of the lazy river. Get an all-day pass for $33-48 or an after-3 pm pass for $28-38. Batting cages and a large mini-golf course are nearby.
  • Midway Speedway Park, also in Rehoboth is go-kart heaven with 5 different tracks plus mini-golf and a water park. The water park has 6 slides, 3 of which are “rapids” slides, and I don’t quite know what that means. But it sounds fun! $25 and under, with an after-4 pm pass available.
  • Thunder Lagoon Water Park at the Fenwick boardwalk near Ocean City, MD, has 6 slides, a winding lazy river, and play areas. Adjacent is Viking-themed mini-golf and go-karts. Pay to play for 2 or 4 hours, between $25-32.
  • Killens Pond Water Park has 5 slides and a large pool, a baby pool, and a “tot lot.” Located in the state park of Killens Pond in Felton. $8-12.

I go to funland alot but some rides need renovation like the boats and the swings. When I was a kid I went there so much and I had good times but the haunted mansion freaked me out.

Hello, I love funland. When I was a kid, I hated the haunted mansion my family tried to get me on but I refused but now I think somerides need renovation like the boats and the swings plus the fire trucks but that’s what my 12 year old thinks.

You made it to the end! (Hint: I love comments)
