Finally, the last state in this roller-coasters-by-state series! We have arrived in Wyoming – sadly (for this article) a state with very few roller coasters in it. Let’s look at the (one) roller coaster in Wyoming.

Snow King Mountain
The only roller coaster in Wyoming isn’t even a “real” coaster by some folks’ standards. It’s a mountain coaster, befitting the wild nature of the state. At Snow King Mountain in Jackson Hole, we find the Cowboy Coaster, which operates year-round. They have an interesting price structure here – $30 gets you as many rides as you can manage within one hour. It might be priced differently in the summer – the video I linked to says $20 per ride in the summer of 2022.
Water Parks in Wyoming
There aren’t very many water parks in Wyoming – not even indoor ones! There’s one hot springs park of note, bu other than that, I don’t find much. Let me know if I’m wrong!
- Star Plunge is a “hot springs water park” in (appropriately) Thermopolis. They have indoor and outdoor pools warmed by natural hot springs, one long mat slide open in the summer, one enclosed body slide into the indoor pool and open year-round, and a smaller tot slide. There’s also a vapor cave, heated by steam from the hot springs. All-day admission is $15.50 and under.
- Other than that, there might be some city-run aquatic centers around. I see evidence of ones in Cheyenne, Rock Springs, and Worland but evidence online is overall hard to find. (Worland at least has a Facebook page.) Looks like at best, these might have a slide or two and a splash area, nothing too major.
